Prios Kompetanse AS is a Norwegian provider of learning, innovation, and advisory services, operating at the intersection of education, technology, and sustainable business development. Our core concept is “Learning as a Service”, a modular and flexible approach that combines digital learning, real-time advisory services, microlearning, and skills matchmaking into one scalable solution tailored for SMEs, public organizations, and regional innovation ecosystems.
Short project summary
The main aim of MediaResist is to strengthen the resilience of the media and creative industries by equipping journalists and digital media professionals with essential skills in media literacy, critical thinking, and disinformation detection, through a modular online micro-training programme and an innovative onboarding tool that assesses readiness, guides learners toward tailored training pathways, and validates their competences with digital badges, ensuring both professional preparedness and societal impact.
Main Aim of the proposed project
1. Design and implement modular micro-trainings for VET students (EQF 5-7) and early-career professionals in media and journalism.
2. Develop a digital onboarding and guidance tool that assesses media literacy readiness, recommends personalised training pathways, and issues digital badges/micro-credentials.
3. Co-create curricula and resources with enterprises (media agencies, newsrooms, digital platforms) to ensure alignment with labour market needs.
4. Embed resilience and ethical standards into vocational training for the Creative & Cultural Industries across Europe.
Expected results – output of the proposed project
– A suite of micro-training modules on media literacy, critical thinking, and disinformation resilience.
– An onboarding and assessment tool integrated with training content, issuing EU-recognised badges.
– A Media Resilience Framework for vocational curricula in journalism and digital media.
– Pilot-tested training programme reaching at least 300 learners across partner countries.
– Strong cooperation between VET providers, HEIs, and enterprises in the CCIs ecosystem.
